Aims, Scope, and Audience
The Journal of Turkish Clinical Biochemistry is the official scientific publication of the Turkish Clinical Biochemistry Association. The journal aims to promote high-quality scientific research, support inclusion in international indexing databases, and enhance the dissemination of knowledge in the field of clinical biochemistry, thereby contributing to the education and professional development of specialists.
The journal encompasses clinical laboratory and related clinical studies focused on the evaluation of human health, including the prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, prognosis, and treatment follow-up of diseases through the analysis of human biological samples using a wide range of laboratory methods and organ function tests. Its scope includes, but is not limited to, the selection, application, development, and standardization of laboratory tests; interpretation of laboratory findings; medical consultation; clinical laboratory quality standards; as well as laboratory informatics, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
Priority is given to studies that integrate analytical data with clinical outcomes and that contribute to patient safety and the improvement of healthcare quality. The journal primarily considers studies involving human subjects; experimental studies are expected to demonstrate clear translational relevance.
All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process and are evaluated solely on the basis of scientific originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and overall academic merit.
