Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to research relations between first hour glucose and insuline level and inflamation markers in individuals who was loaded 75 grams glucose.

Materials and Methods: 11 individuals who were non obese and normal glucose metabolism and had any evident diseases were enrolled in the study. In these individuals after 75 grams glucose load, the correlation relations between first hour glucose and insulin levels and also between fasting C-reactive protein and fibrinogen levels were estimated statistically.

Results: There were a statically strong significant corelation relations between first hour glucose and inflamatuar markers (Fasting C-reactive protein and fibrinogen value).

Conclusion: Individuals who were loaded 75 grams glucose, first hour glucose value influenced fibrinogen and C-reactive protein used as basic inflamation level markers each other. This was resembled relations between the first hour insulin and glucose value.
